  In my opinion, pop music is nothing serious I mean you listen to a particular song enjoy it and then move to another pop song forgetting the old one and then another .... but nothing serious. I agree about the cars, the women, the booze, and the US hip-hop but the old-school stuff is not so commercial. In addition, I thing the situation is the same with the Korean bands I mean the YG bands VS. The Movement bands :-)
