Hello and Welcome!

  • Hello and Welcome!

... to the new and since today only Keith Caputo Group at last.fm.

Let it grow and let's have some fun here. :)

  • Hey people,
you are great. :) I didn't know whether the Group would find friends so soon. But there are some and I'm really happy about that.

If you know other people who like Keith, go tell them, please!

I'm also open for all suggestions around the Group and group page, just let me know. (Since I'm only here for a few days now, let me also know about issues I just didn't get because of my new-ness. ;) )

And there is no artist description for Keith so far, maybe you want to write one? -> http://www.last.fm/music/Keith+Caputo

  • I didn't know Keith through Life of Agony - a friend introduced me to his solo music and from the first listen I was hooked :)

  • The same with me here. I just knew "Razzberry Mockery" when I went to his concert in Berlin two or three years ago and I found it great to hear his songs live first. I have heard maybe half of a song by Life Of Agony so far.

And now I'm trying so hard to get his new CD. On the last concert in Berlin I had to leave early and couldn't buy a CD - if i had known that it isn't available like the ones before I would have waited until 5a.m. for the next train so that I had that great CD now. :(

  • Years ago I listened to Died Laughing and loved every tune of it.
I was in Stuttgart (Röhre) at his concert a couple months ago. I bought the the CD there. It´s awesome. Every member of the band signed it and they were all open for a small talk. Maybe I can scan the cover with the writings from Keith an the others and show a picture of it here...if you like.
Do you have ore know somebody who might have the live version of 'let's pretend' performed by Keith solo? This song life blew me away.
On his website you can buy the CD.

Here you can download the song 'Livin the Blues' from the CD legaly. It's one of the best songs from Keith.

  • Do you know whether they ship the CD to Germany, too when I buy it through his website? I think USD5 for shipping+handling is a little less to ship the thing over the ocean. Normally s+h is around USD25 (to Germany), I guess.

    Thanks for the mp3-link. <3

  • Good evening, Ladies and Gentlemen ...

@first, many thanks for the invitation.

@second: buying his private CDs sadly still IS a problem ... years ago on his 'monsters tour' we subscribed on a concert a list, paid about 20 Euros but we never ever received a CD ... sad, but not too painful. We still do like him ...

I am still on search for an original of that album from that time ... who knows, maybe sometime ... :-)

@third: I am really impressed that from the start there are many germans here ... even the group-starter ... ;-)

I hope we all have a good time on this board.

    Sincerely, the GrumpyOldMan.

  • You're welcome farbanomalie. Do you like the song?
    Which CD, GrumpyOldMan?

Hi The Ark ... (*grin*) - still missing Perfect Little Monsters in my rack ...

  • Oh, yeah, I miss this one, too.
(But at least I got the MP3s by someone so at least I can listen to something.)

edit: Wohoo, I finally found a German Mailorder for "Hearts Blood On Your Dawn" - it's https://www.justforkicks.de/
I hope they don't just keep my money - I'm waiting painfully curious for this CD ...

edit2: This shop is great. I asked them whether they had "Perfect Little Monsters", too and they promised to put this in for 12,99EUR although it is not listed online. Try asking for it there, GrmpyOldMan!

  • It arrived, both CDs. They are quick and great. I'm so happy!!

  • Thanks for inviting me!

I've been a fan of Life Of Agony, since their second album 'Ugly' came out. Keith solo is amazing, especially 'Died laughing'. I've been privilidged to see Keith and Life Of Agony live. To me that was 'pure music'!!

BTW: Check out Among Thieves (Alan Robert's former side-project)Alan Robert is the bass player and major song writer for Life Of Agony.

    hello everybody. thanks for inviting.
I don't know much about the options here, anyway..
I saw Keith also live this year on 16th of may in Stuttgart (Röhre) and bought hearts blood on your dawn. Keith promised to sign every single CD which was bought after the concert.
He's just such a sincere person with a great karma.
I also could enjoy Life of Agony live, last year at the Visions Festival in Stuttgart, Schleyerhalle. The show was great, but unfortunately a bit short, because they weren't the main act.
    Enough from my side.
PS: Is it necessary to write in English here? I guess most of the people in this Group are german anyway...

  • Hello and welcome to all of you who are new on board. :)

I would prefer to keep our talks in English here because not everyone is from Germany and who knows - maybe we'll get more international members in the long run.

I wish you all a great time.
