A group that enjoys Kauan's music, and wants to show support for the artists.

Hey everyone! Thank you for coming, and at least taking the time to see what this group is all about. Whether you join or not, it doesn't matter, the fact that interest is instilled to compel you to come makes me glad. This band is absolutely amazing, I have discovered it much more recently than I wish, mainly due to not ever hearing about them. Nonetheless, this band is fantastic, and better late than never is always true. Especially in this case.

This is a band hailing from Russia, which incorporates a wide array of musical influence to make their specific flavor of doom metal. With smatterings of folk, jazz, heavy piano-laden melodies, and a deep and beautiful atmosphere, this band is one to hopefully rise in the ranks of many people's favorites, charts, cd-players and maybe, and hopefully, over the radio waves.

    News from Anton Belov, the leader of the Russian project Kauan. After a five year long pause he has resurrected one of his side-projects, Helengard. In addition to Anton the project includes female singer Brin Roberts (ex-Semargl, INFERNO). Despite that the lyrics are in Russian language, Helengard have already signed to a European label WinterSunset Rec. and the recordings of the debut album have already been started a few weeks ago. Anton's words: “All the people see these huge style changes in Kauan from album to album. What can I say about the material that I wrote about 5 years ago for a folk-black project, influenced by metal bands that I listen to nowadays just to feel nostalgic? Surely I will re-arrange everything, but I'll try to keep the original character and idea there. Well, the style of this project will be much further away from Kauan, than what Strecosa is”.
