Kate Bush (born Catherine Mary Bush 30 July 1958, Bexleyheath, Kent, now part of Greater London), is an English female solo singer and musician. Her eclectic and meticulous musical style, and idiosyncratic and literary lyrics have made her one of the United Kingdom's most successful and popular solo female performers of the past 30 years.

Having been signed up by EMI at the age of 16, Bush debuted in 1978 with the surprise hit "Wuthering Heights", topping the UK charts for four weeks and becoming the first woman to have a UK number one with a self-penned song. While this was the height of her singles chart success, she has achieved throughout her career both artistic recognition and considerable album success.

    Don't think much of Director's Cut - The realisation of the songs is o.k but the mix and intense bass are appalling. Thought I had a dodgy CD when I first played it
