Usually Anneke van Giersbergen's songs (she's the former singer from dutch band the Gathering) and some pop artists music (Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, etc)

An example of an Anneke's song that always cheers me up :)

Most of the time it's either Evanescence or Within Temptation.
Also some random symphonic or gothic metal bands from time to time.

And when I'm really depressed I find any doom metal helpful (don't really understand why).
