To all this, who respect not only main artist, but also this one which is featured in some songs. Tags with "feat." are correct (but it have to be like that: artist - title (feat. artist2)!

Yesss, so glad to have discovered this group! Love the graphic presentation! Also, the ''feat.'' shold always be with a lowercase.

backwards! "feat. Artist" should be included in the artist tag. the title of the track should not have "(feat. Artist)" because "feat. Artist" is also an artist and is not part of the track title.

i was super-happy to find this group but now i'm leaving again immediately because the stipulation that it has to be in round brackets is just straight up wrong. fuck brackets. "Lady Gaga - Telephone feat. Beyoncé" format is truth

ft. f. featuring - they all are incorrect. the only one correct and aceptable by our group and rules on musicbrainz is "feat."

Last.fm used to be beautiful. They ruined it.

I agree that the separate pages might be an annoyance. Last.fm is to blame. They continue to not care. I disagree with the (feat. blah) idea. I think Last.fm should just figure out a better system. I know there is one, but thats not my job. This is why i am in search of a better music website, i just can't find one.

yes, but we don't want to create pages like "lady gaga feat. beyonce", "lady gaga featuring beyonce" and others, because this plays will go to this pages, not for lady gaga. so in this case, we need to tag like is said in this group. when last.fm will figure out this problem, we will change our tags.

The title of Telephone by Lady Gaga is NOT "telephone (feat. Beyonce)". Thats not the title of the song. Thats not what she named the freakin song. she called it Telephone, and thats all. And this goes for all featured artists songs. If there is an artist responsible for a portion of the song is should be "By Lady Gaga (feat. Beyonce)". Telephone was written by Lady Gaga and partially Beyonce and should be tagged like so.

Well, in this case there's no answer. Probably just tag it like they say: artist: Madonna vs. Lady Gaga vs. Pitbull / track: ou Know I Want Love Celebration

ThroughTheWire_: When it isn't dance remix, but remix which added some new lines singing but new performer I use something like this: Artist - Title (remix feat. Artist2); so about your exemple it will be "Alicia Keys - Like You'll Never See Me Again (remix feat. Ludacris)", but remember - it's only when its not dance remix.
