It seems that every 1337-speaking 10-year-old tryhard with a punk hairdo and a fuck-you-society attitude is listening to Through The Fire And The Flames these days, and goddamnit that pisses me...

Pretty much everyone that has written in the shoutbox has said "DragonForce are still awesome, why would you now hate them because they're trendy?" This is because 9 out of 10 people are assuming that I now hate DF. This is ridiculous. I love DragonForce, and I have never mentioned otherwise. As I write this, I am listening to My Spirit Will Go On, fer chrissake.

So, for the record, join this group if you STILL DO LOVE DRAGONFORCE, but are annoyed that they are now trendy. Which is pretty much what I said in the Description.

And for the love of God, do not come here and spam "OMG DRAGONFORCE IS LAME LOL", or even the literate version of that. I don't care if you hate them. If you do, go join an anti-DragonForce group. Or a suicide cult.

    So the way I see it, GH3 was just a great way to expose Dragonforce to more people who wouldn't normally even hear them. I see it as being the same as you telling your friends about Dragonforce and then converting them. Dragonforce isn't yours, you should be happy that they are getting more popularity/exposure.

    So, my 11 year old nephew got me into Guitar Hero 3, and I must admit that I'm not a huge fan of rock, especially Dragonforce's Heavy/Death Metal. However, since playing through Guitar Hero 3 and being exposed to TTFAF, I have become a fan and downloaded a bunch of DF songs, but not because it's trendy or because they are in the game. Some bands in GH3 are just alright. I like DF cause they rock!
