  You might wanna consider connecting bands like Hammerfall, Falconer, Slechtvalk and 16 Horsepower... although their lyrics aren't bad (actually, they're great if you're into that sort of stuff), they still remain quite (orthodox) Christian nonetheless.

  I was a christian for a long time, now an agnostic. Anyway, I discovered a fair amount of good christian bands back in the day that I still listen to: Velour 100 (dream pop, shoegaze), Morella's Forest (indie pop, shoegaze), Mortal (metal), Circle of Dust (Industrial Metal), Klank (Industrial Metal), Bon Voyage (indie pop), Serene (dream pop), Puller (indie rock), Tellus (prog rock), Spy Glass Blue (indie rock), etc, etc

  As an atheist it is ridiculous how many Christian bands I listen to... but crap, they're good! I notice the connected artists are mostly "harder" Christian rock - what about bands like Anberlin, House of Heroes (FANTASTIC though they're preachier than others), The Classic Crime, FireFlight, etc.?

  im not religious at all, and like some good jesus music haha. and im not a fan when the get all praise the lord on my ass. but mewithoutyou does a great job, i love their lyrics! wonderful metaphors and artistic writing, even if its about big man upstairs. atleast its not shouting the mans name.
