Justice....overated?

Justice....overated?

Anybody think that Justice are a bit overated? I enjoyed their album with songs like stress, phantom and waters of nazareth plus various remixes they have done, but some songs like DVNO and Thhhhhhe pppparty are just crap in my opinion.

I think Digitalism are so much better.

All opinions welcome!

DVNO is awesome >.<
stress is the only i don't like, but the live version is nice..

sure better than Digitalism (the only song i like is Pogo)

Over used, not overrated.
EVERYBODY and their momma was pumping Justice ever since we figured out about their asses and that was ages ago. I get that feeling with most bands i listen to anyway, like NYPC and Friendly Fires and such, mostly because the singles that we blasted for a while end up on the album, which is kinda boring. U hear their singles and stuff for so long that u get a bit tired of it. But they are still goodo. Digitalism is a great Electronic group I don't consider them electro, doesn't feel electro, mainly cause they don't have that whole 80's nostalgia vibe going like every other electro artist out there. JUSTiCE > DiGiTALiSM

Justice and Digitalism are both, as we say in the states, fucking awesome dude! Although in my opinion a live Justice show is the pinnacle of human existence.

Definitely overplayed. To me, Justice has two sides to them. The harder more underground side, and the popier more accessible side. Their popier side got boring to me after hearing DANCE being played over and over. There's probably only two songs of theirs I can still listen to. Phantom (the original not pt ii) and Stress.

The others have been played out for me.

I have seen Justice, Digitalism, and (and to throw another one into the mix) Simian Mobile Disco all play and I must say SMD are better out of all three.

This is not to say the Justice show wasn't awesome, but there was a reason why Fabric rejected their mix and commissioned SMD's. Justice are a bit overrated. If not, then overhyped. I prefer "I Believe" (or "Pogo" for that matter) to "D.A.N.C.E." any day.

"DVNO" rocks though...

If you were hip to justice when they had first released Waters of Nazareth...it was some epic shit. I don't think they are overrated -- I think they make great dance music but recently their remixes have been pretty lack luster. Def overplayed, though.

They're not even bothered to put on a great light show or something.

No, digitalism is better, both live as on cd. But yeh, they got more of that joy division heritage and you can hear it...

i agree with someone talking about new album YES the need to do a new album but i think that they aren`t overrrated nad overhyped and overeanything cause as you can see tuns of people here have justice in their charts = they are popular and good for lot of folks... and digitalism? aren`t bad but i know much better bands includijnk Justice...

Justice are awesome,yes they need new album but still Cross is pretty amazing and their live sets are best ,i mean I love techno or Essential mix <3 . I am looking foward on their new songs and mixies and i hope they will come to czech republic!!

See them live

And you will know they will rock your socks off. I've seen them twice in the UK (once live @ Somerset House, the other a DJ Set @ Matter) and both times were amazing!

their live shows are the best thing since sliced bread, mybe not as good as daft punk live but ive missed them twice </3
