I think David Lynch should take the 1Q84 stuff to make the perfect movie.

in times when i feel sick, or depressed, the only thing I want to do is to read Haruki's novels over and over again. Healing!

I have read "Umibe no Kafuka", "Hitsuji o meguru bōken" and "All God's Children Can Dance" (I can't find Japanese name now). Both of them are really amazing. However it was a bit time ago (the last book I read like...hmm...1,5 years ago :/) and it was a big fail... Yesterday I bought "Supūtoniku no koibito" and recalled how much I love Murakami's style. I read almost whole book, but...I will let it now, because I want to enjoy in it tomorrow yet... The strange thing at all is this that I'm really not preferring any of them. Kafka is the most popular (or maybe just in Poland?). Last time I couldn't enjoy in any book, so...it mean something. From now, if I might have his books for free, I would read some everyday. It just costs.......much.

I have read only one book Dance, Dance, Dance and I have no strong inclination at the moment to pick up another one. Any suggestions that may make me change my mind? I do like his style of writing though.

The first Murakami book that I read was The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle. Since that day I'm a new fan.

Wow.. "Practically everything I know about writing I learned from music. It may sound paradoxical to say so, but if I had not been so obsessed with music, I might not have become a novelist." -Haruki... Didn't know. Impressive.
