Descrição:
A group for the successful and talented Israeli singer.

Harel Skaat (הראל סקעת) born August 8, 1981, in Kfar Sava, Israel is a singer of Yemenite Jewish descent who quickly rose to fame as the runner-up of the second season of “Kokhav Nolad” ("A Star is Born", an American Idol-like series show) in 2004.
Skaat emerged from Kokhav Nolad with a large fan base. He was especially popular with Israel's young females. In 2005, Skaat was chosen to sing the Israeli National Anthem, “Hatikvah” (The Hope) in a soccer game between Israel and France. Also in 2005, he performed in a musical play ("He Who Dreamed") based on the last 10 years in the life of Yitzhak Rabin.
Skaat has also taken part in three different Festigal children programs, which have been held annually during the Hanukkah season. Skaat released his debut album, Harel Skaat (הראל סקעת), in the Summer of 2006. The album produced a string of hits, including Kama Od Efshar, Mashehu Mimeni, and the romantic ballad, Ve At. The album was certified gold less than one month after its release, eventually achieving platinum status. (It should be noted that because of its small market size, the Israeli music industry certifies an album to be gold when it sells 20,000 copies.)
Skaat won numerous awards for his work on the self-titled album. He was named "The Man of 2006 in Israeli Music" by "Keshet" and "The Male Singer of 2006" in the "Hebrew Song Contest." He also won "Singer of the Year" and "Song of the Year" for Ve At in the Music 24 Channel's Israel Music Awards (AMI).
In 2007 Skaat won for song of the year with Keren Peles' And You. The category was decided by viewers, who voted via text messages. Skaat also took the best Singer of the Year award.
In May 2009, Skaat released the single, Now I Understand (Hebrew: מובן לי עכשיו.) and resolved the problems with Artzi. It's the first single of his second album, Images,(Hebrew: דמויות), which will be released September 1, 2009. Two other singles from this album have been subsequently released, Come Today, (Hebrew: בואי היום) and End, (Hebrew: סוף.)
