  Goddamnit. I have the money for a Jazzmaster but I can't find one in the colour that I want. If anyone sees a lake placid blue, seafoam green, or any other non-sunburst, black or white Jazzmasters for sale then let me know please. Might be able to afford a used AVRI, but Japanese is fine too.

  Check out these new JM copies: http://store.guitarfetish.com/xvseofgu.html . They're getting talked about loads on various forums, apparently the guitars are amazing, and they only cost $200. The specs are great on them, the only thing I don't like is the pickguard shape. That "Telemaster" looks interesting too.

  Jazzmasters are too fucking expensive, and the mexican versions really don't play all that well.

  use a schaller replacement bridge. the one with rollers or the classic. 100% no problems anymore ;-)

  Higher gauge strings? On my Jag with the Mustang bridge the strings never popped out or buzzed, I was using 11s.

  I recently got a Mustang bridge put on my Jazzmaster to eliminate all that goddamn buzzing, which it did... HOWEVER Now the low E string keeps popping out of place on the saddles whenever I play it...Any ideas on how to put an end to this?

  I'm getting my Thurston Moore Jazzmaster on Friday throwing down the last of the payments I have been playing her in the shop and they are very very good to me there understanding that I have wanted a jazzmaster since I was knee high to a grasshopper. I even have made a space in my room for her and have chosen a name. This guitar sounds great and I am really enjoying the color even more so in person. I even gave my plasma to help pay for it ! Extremely worth it though!
