Felt

Felt was a 1980s' UK indie band, led by the enigmatic and obsessive Lawrence Hayward, usually including guitarist Maurice Deebank. The band released ten albums and ten singles in ten years. Felt are often cited as a major influence by Belle and Sebastian's Stuart Murdoch.

Afterwards, Lawrence went on to form Denim and subsequently Go Kart Mozart.

    I was lucky enough find Felt on my own. When their first record came out I saw that cover at the record store, Northern Lights, and it grabbed me and then to think of the amazing beauty that was contained in that package. In sharing the music of Felt, I take great pride. Many friends and musicians have been influenced by Felt. I know I have been touched. Thanks. Glad to see their is a group. Check
