Just like the first two Radiohead albums are britpop, although with OK Computer they kind of disassociated themselves with the scene by making a paranoid classis, while everyone else was being far too indulgent and making horrible music. Be Here Now? Fuck off and die.

Different Class defines Britpop. It's incredible. Also SFA were definitely britpop. Different style, but still britpop. Just like how all punk doesn't sound like Sham 69, all britpop doesn't sound like Blur OR Oasis (the or is important, those two bands sound totally different).

well I guess, samuel, the album just doesn't have that Oasis/Blur britpop feel to me. It's so full of swagger, piss & vinegar, glam intonations, punk attitude... it just feels like something different to me. Of course, i'm not british and I wasn't paying much attention at the time so I'm sure you're right. But as for Super Furry Animals? Seriously not. They're closer to Gorky's Zygotic Mynci if anything. Whom I still really enjoy when I hear a single or two....
