and you know why many emos cut themselves? Because they think its what making them emo. because all the people around them tell them emo do cut themselves. So wannabee-emos go show their mates their scars and say 'look, I cut myself. Now I am emo'. Which makes the reason why people also point on 'wanting attention'.
so stop saying is a emo habit to cut themselves, you only make them do it like that.

yeh i guess maybe someone out ther may be 'emo' but now it's just become a stereotype like 'oh there always depressed and cut themselves and always wear black so now there are only wannabe/poseur emos left coz the people who actually listens to real emo music don't wanna be called emo coz it's just a stereotype now and some of them may now even fit that stereotype..

lmfao but if you listen to every genre then. lol labels are so dumb. everyone's themselves not a word how can you call somebody something by the way they look you cant assume shit if you don't know somebody.

I don't consider myself as emo, but I kinda look a bit emo (hair, clothes), and my mucial taste is quite "emo" xD , lol no not the Toki Hotel and Three Days Grace thing, but Hardcore, Post-Hardcore and screamo :) (like Underoath, Silverstein, Burden Of A Day <3), but I also love some metal and I don't like those dyed black exploden eighties look hairstyles, just skinny jeans, a cute top, and vans/all star shoes for me :)

Every music genre has a style/personality trait to go with it.
Like Metal, Long hair, black band shirt which isnt skin tight, baggy pants usually black or denim and work boots or sneakers

I think that all of us in shower emo. Someone shows it, and someone isn't present.
I consider that those young men who carry all black (black-pink), carry long black hair and cut myself they are poseurs.
