A group dedicated to NON-ENGLISH singing FEMALE artists

If you want to listen to our music check our tag-based divas international radio.

This group aims at promoting non-English singing female vocalists of the world. Blessed with superb voices and vocal skills, they are often big stars in their native countries, but are unknown or ignored internationally because they sing in a "local" language, and not the "universal" one.

We would like to feature here artists whose music is rooted in their native cultures and traditions. If your charts are dominated by female vocalists or by the world music genre (or, preferably, both), this group is probably for you. Also, if you are receptive to music coming from countries and regions other than your own and you don't get frustrated or discouraged every time you hear a song in an unfamiliar language, this group is definitely for you!

ar-lo-m, thanx for your input, but the fact that somebody belongs to a group doesn't mean that he listens (or should listen) exclusively to music featured by that group. people usually listen to many different things and belong to many groups, that's normal. if you want to know a group's taste you'd better check "unique to this group" charts (let alone connected artists) and not "overall" charts. ps. and don´t forget we had new year's parties a week ago;)

non-english singing female artists??? britney spears, beyoncé, madonna they sing in english, chistina aguilera and jennifer lópez sometimes don´t sing in english probably for gain a bit more latin-listeners, you members should listen others singers
