    10th Album

"Having split with Epic, Amos is financing recording sessions for her as-yet-untitled 10th studio album herself (again there's a concept; each song will be tied to its own short film)"

    Good NEws.
What do you expect from this album?

From Undented, "The new album, due in spring, will be called “Abnormally Attracted to Sin,”. Tori will be playing some new songs off the album when she performs in march in Austin*, each song will be accompanied by a “visualette”.

*Tori will play La Zona Rosa on Thursday, March 19, 2009 as part of the Universal Republic Records showcase.

  • What a shit album title.

    Sexbots unite.
  • Well i've thought her last couple albums were kind of just over kill with so many songs and i think focus was lost on the better ones. So hopefully she goes back to more earlier days of writting 10-12 solid really well done songs and not 6 good songs and like 18 songs that are lame.

I was quite surprised when I first saw the artwork. Not exactly what i was expecting. I had the feeling that something was kept hidden.

"To me the cover of AAtS seems to have a darker or more sinister undertone than what you might think at first glance. Everything is perfect in appearance, but what lies underneath? Everything in the picture from the angle in which it was taken to the mask in her hand suggests something deeper is going on."

I find this quote really interesting.
    What do you think?

  • im not sure yet, the cover is dark, in a strange, retro and family-adams way

    Description of AATS by www.songwriters.de

"The mood of "AATS is mostly rather dark and highly emotional, almost like a nocturnal conversation (or a confession), which, for several bottles of wine takes place..."
    ....

    Good for us.

  • That cover photo looks Hitchcockian. Sinister.

not dark for a song about suicide, though. (we're a pretty sunny state...)
    Maybe California

i think her words don't flow well with the notes... my 2¢.
