agosto 2008Coheed é uma das melhores bandas que existem, alternativas! Precisariamos de mais musicas ao vivoo, poderiam lançar um CD ao vivo!

NeoKokoro escreveu:
agosto 2008Speaking of genres that were discussed earlier, I think New Prog is the best genre to fit Coheed and Cambria. Although, they are more commonly listed as Progressive Rock and Alternative Rock. Sometimes, I've even them listed as Progressive Metal and Alternative Metal as well.

junho 2008i keep trying to listen to my other music but i just end up thinking "why is coheed+tpfi not my playlist" and then switch back

junho 2008prize fighter inferno is perfect, in my opinion. really doesn't need anything more or it would sound overworked. it's definitely exactly what claudio intended. and it's not like he spent 7 years slaving over it, it was a -side- project.

Rowan5215 escreveu:
junho 2008I wanna get some Shabutie songs!

zippeh escreveu:
abril 2008I like some of the Prizefighter stuff, but I really expect more from Claudio, especially since it took him 7 years to record that album.

março 2008I was Wondering if Anybody had any hard to find ep's of coheed & cambria or any acoustic demos?. i have 5 so far. 2 being of a acoustic session the other 3 are live ep's. let me know.

SocialAnXieTy28 escreveu:
fevereiro 2008You'd really have to listen to their earlier stuff to hear prog similarities. Their new stuff is somewhat, but not quite.
-
aimon escreveu:
janeiro 2008They are often described as Prog Rock because not only do they have some relatively long songs (when comparing to standard Rock Note: Not post-rock etc which can be in excess of tens of minutes) but also their lyrics and their conceptual ideas. Bands which are Prog Rock don't need to sound just like each other, one might be somewhat heavier. Aimon.
-
zippeh escreveu:
dezembro 2007they are prog because some of their songs last 6+ minutes, they use instruments that are not commonly associated with regular rock, etc. thats why they are prog.
-
Proyarmad escreveu:
novembro 2007i listened to them a little and i can't say they're bad but i don't understand why so many tagged them as progressive rock?
