To all fans of jazz-poetry, Blind William -- listener from Dog Town, now relocated to the Diamond City -- have upped some astonishingly beautiful Zora Neale Hurston tracks here. This week there are also posts on Langston Hughes, providing audio links to some very rare sessions with Langston, Charles Mingus, and Horace Parlan, and a number of other posts on Nora Zeale Hurston. "We are digging the crates for a few Langston Hughes related music projects: A Modern Jazz Symposium of Music and Poetry with Charles Mingus, Did You Ever Hear the Blues and Mule Bone. All have the same unusual promise that most of Langston's musical projects carry," Blind William says.
