    Tell me, Cinderella fans...

What drew you to these guys?

Myself, I first picked up the Night Songs cassette at a garage sale a few years back. I took one look at the cover, remembered the "glam metal" section in Metal: A Headbanger's Journey, and thought, "I ought to check this out."
It got played a couple times, but I couldn't fully appreciate it with my cheap cassette player, so I forgot about them. However, not long after, while I was visiting relatives, I stopped at another garage sale and came across Night Songs and Heartbreak Station, this time in CD format. I bought them, but didn't listen to them much until I got home.
I still remember clearly, the first time I sat down and really listened to Heartbreak Station. I listened to the first two tracks, was impressed, heard Shelter Me and was very impressed... then One for Rock and Roll came on, and I was shocked. I'd never come across as album that switched so quickly, from a fairly heavy rock tune to a country song. Of course, once the initial shock wore off, I was ready to list Cinderella as one of my favourite bands.
And, when I found Long Cold Winter, I was in love.

  • Saw a picture of them whilst reading the Glam Metal artical at wikipedia ages ago when I was getting into the genre. Then I got hold of the song Shake Me and enjoyed it, but it wasn't until I saw Nobody's Fool on YouTube that I fell in love. Bought the debut on Amazon, month or so later I bought Long Cold Winter which I loved even more. The mighly Heartbreak Station joined my cd collection another month later. Took me a while to get Still Climbing but when i finally did it became my favourite album of theirs :)

  • And at me all has begun when was small, the father for old playere included this remarkable group, and the song from album Long cold Winter was the first song! And then I yet very often listened to this group, have passed a lot of time лиш last year I of their beginnings to listen and have got used to them with all the heart! Yes children I the Ukrainian translate the text through online the dictionary so can be граматические errors do not laugh!

I just like old rock bands. Now I'm really into 80's hair metal, glam rock etc.. And I just love Cinderella :D I have only one of their albums "Rocked, Wired & Bluesed: The Greatest Hits" and that is a GH album.. Someday I'll also buy their "real" albums..

  • my dad did listened a bit to them when i was like...small.Then when i got my own computer, I got the five or six songs my dad had on his computer. So I guess(I dont remember really...) I did listen more to them, cause later i decided to buy all their albums :P and now I have them, and I also had the luck to see them live this summer! That's crazy, they haven't been to Sweden since 1987....

  • I think I've heard some of their biggest hits when I was young, but when Cinderella was going to come to the Sweden Rock Festival,I started listen to them very much, and it didn't take a long time for me to fall in love, haha :D:DAnd like my sister(rokknrollkid) I had the big luck to see them live this summer!! it was awesome, and it just got me more in to them! <3 :D
