joepaice Made In The UK’ 2009 Concert Series Rochester, NY and New York City will play host to America’s largest ever series of UK jazz concerts in June 2009. Arts Council England have agreed to support the British artists programmed at this year’s XEROX Rochester International Jazz Festival, New York (RIJF), as part of their international concert series ‘Made in the UK’. Produced by ESIP, the nine RIJF concerts from 12 – 20 June are The Peter King Quartet, Liane Carroll Trio, the Neil Cowley Trio, Tessa Souter Quartet, Tony Kofi Quartet, Norma Winstone with Gareth Williams & Tim Garland’s Lighthouse Trio. Huw Warren and the Paula Gardiner Trio will also be performing with support from Wales Arts International at the festival to represent ‘Welsh Jazz’. Many of these bands are also playing NYC dates, and Neil Cowley Trio and the Lighthouse Trio are also hitting other US cities. For further information, visit http://www.myspace.com/madeintheuk2009
