After 4 years (has it been _that_ long?!), I still think fondly of the old last.fm, not just the design but the whole awesome communities that were here, discovering new music and new neighbours. Four years down the road they haven't changed it back, if not changed things for the worse, and no matter what, I hope you are still enjoying music and discover new stuff and new people to enjoy it with. \m/

Global_Carnage I wasn't even registered on this site around that time, but I knew people who were. The old design looks like it was much better than the current one. It seems they decided to take out some neat features too while they were at it, which ultimately sucks. I think this site needs to progress instead of becoming mainstream-friendly crap. They could have at least made graphically customizable profiles, so that people would be able to choose what they want.

Unshined i don´t visit this place like i used to with the old Last f.m. It was much more attractive before the changes, now it´s boring and dont feel attracted to use it.

Well, Dekkul, it looks like you're enjoying the non-existence of a free radio, which is what last.fm was all about. That's the "fm" in last.fm. It's about much more that just design at this point.

Hey Greenwatch, it's been a long time. I too come here infrequently nowadays - here I am replying to your shout some 2 weeks later =) I can't believe it's already been 3 years since the first changes. I still miss the old beautiful last.fm and I'm not leaving hoping to see it come back someday.

I gotta admit I come here much, much less often than before. It used to be daily, even hourly. I was active in getting my friends to use, in discussing stuff in groups. Now I just use a plugin to scrobble songs from my mp3 players. I don't even bother to come on the site to check what my listening patterns are, any more. Really, really sad.

decpet Paid again 3 bugs and saw how limited it became (surprise!)... and all coursed under the umbrella of copy right, well is that the real reason. It feels more that the frustration drives people to buy their music directly on line. Commerce wins and who owns this site again?
