Bob Marley solo or Bob with Wailers?

What do you think about that? In my opinion bob made better songs with Wailers.

Mmm, but I love the charm of the I-Threes, but on the other hand the I-threes couldn't wail that good on tracks like Concrete Jungle etc.

bob marley and the wailers, definitely.. but that's his solo carreer.

the wailers included bob, peter tosh and bunny wailer.
when they split up, bob continued with the name bob marley & the wailers.

With The Wailers!! it sounds way better!! Peter Tosh an Bunny Wailer made wonderful backing vocals too!!
but nobody can deny the greatness of his songs without them...

The sound with the Wailers was definitely rootsier, i agree too. Only i would chose both options. One day i like him better solo, the other with The Wailers.

Certainly with the wailers, songs like slave driver, caution & kinky reggae are much better than anything produced later on, though no one can deny that the Barrett brothers brought a little something extra to his music =)
