Kaya or Redemption Song for me

  • Trenchtown Rock!

One good thing about music - when it hits you, you feel no pain. --Bob Marley, Trenchtown Rock
  • Impossible to choose one but Is this love, Africa Unite and One Drop is definatily three of his best.

  • One Drop

Yes...One Drop...for sure, but that only closely beats out any other Marley song (for me). It's too tough to pick out a favorite, but One Drop always seems to take me back to a great Caymanian/Jamaica vacation.

Albums are easier to pick than songs. I'd have to say Natty Dread as far as favorite album, but its pretty damn hard to pick a song.

    Impossible for me

I think that this question is wrong. Is too difficult to choose the best song. I can say was is the worst song, but say what is the best song it's impossible for me. Excuse me for me bad English.I'm spanish and I do what I can.

    So Many To Choose From!

It's hard to say. Bob has so many different songs for different moods. I would have to say "Babylon System". Most people haven't even heard that one. "African Herbsman", "Jah Live", and "Reaction", are also some of my top choices!!!

there are so many, so it always changes depending my mood

my all time favorites at the moment they are:
"Zimbabwe" and "War". because of the consciousness "Get up Jamrock", the remix from "Africa Unite: The Singles Collection" I like a lot as well but its basically "get up, stand up" in a new packaging :-)

Remember, information is not knowledge; knowledge is not wisdom; wisdom is not truth; truth is not beauty; beauty is not love; love is not music; music is the best.

  • How Can You Choose?

    African Herbsman
    Mellow Mood
    Nice Time
    Corner Stone
    Small Axe
    Nightshift

All fine songs. But so are the many many others...How can you choose one?

  • Me say the Babylon System is the Vampire, Sucking the blood of the sufferers

  • Is This Love or Jamming or Buffalo Soldier
