Heard Banquet on the OC..Then I heard the prayer on Tv and I just listened to those 2 songs for a long while..then I got into their other stuff

I got into it pretty late. (bought AWITC and Silent Alarm on the same day!)

Anyway, a friend of mine sent me a couple of songs (Two More Years, Banquet and Eating Glass). I didn't like it first time I heard and kinda forgot about it until itunes randomly played Two More Years one day and I liked it very much.

I got into Bloc party really late. I had heard some songs from them, I just wasn't really that impressed until I heard The Prayer, and even then I had to listen to it several times before I "got it".

Helicopter back in 2005 on MTVU- I Was captured by the energy and the video. Band interest and enjoyment snowballed from there.

I believe it was shortly after Silent Alarm came out, and my sister told me to listen to them because she thought I would like them. The first song I listened to was Banquet, and since then I've been hooked.

Flux mainly. First song i heard of them. Little Thoughts and Pioneers brought me to the ~~Dark~~ Bloc Party side though.

The first song I heard of Bloc Party was I still remember, that was my number one for a long time. Now my favourite song is definitely Uniform. It's brilliant.

First BP song I heard was 'Helicopter', they were being talked about on a late night Channel 4 show. I liked them then, but then I heard 'Banquet' and I was hooked from then on.

Weirdly, I first came across Bloc Party whilst playing FIFA 06 (a football playstation game!), which had 'Helicopter' on its playlist.. i then got their album and i've been under their spell since!
