I found a similar problem looking for Geraldo (and his orchestra) and finding Geraldo (and his decks) but they were distinctly different, just the same name. Andy Kirks biog is just confused into one person like brundlefly and in the pre-digital age, that photograph would have come back with a sticker on it, "Blurry shots? ..."

Its a much more modern style. These earlier big bands are much stricter in comparison to the 'jazzier' big bands. Theres a fantastic overlap though.
