  • Benn's Essay on Music Piracy, and how much he really makes

As some of you may know Sublight, the record label that has put out quite a few Flashbulb cds, is closing down.
Here's Benn's thoughts on it, and also his thoughts on the music industry in general.
    A good and important read.

Makes me think about my downloading and buying habits.. But then again I did explore the guy's work thanks to P2P!
I am attempting to buy everything he has ever done though (and already have a couple of his cds), so I'm trying to support him as much as possible.

    Anyway, what do you think?

I think the link is dead now

  • Unfortunately so. There are copies of it on other websites though.
Searching google, the first one I found was: http://wendyday.blogspot.com/2007/07/revolution-of-greed-and-music-industry.html

Remember, the title of the essay is "The Revolution of Greed and the Music Industry". Still interesting.

  • Wow.

  • yea

    the essay says it all.

"And we should consider every day lost on which we have not danced at least once. And we should call every truth false which was not accompanied by at least one laugh." - Friedrich Nietzsche
  • Great essay Benn.
