If you like Electric President, Radical Face and his other projects: IF YOU LIKE BEN COOPER, join!...

This is a group dedicated to the projects that Ben Cooper has been or is a part of. For many of us it seems like everything he touches turns into gold, so let's show him our respect on here.

He keeps a wonderful journal on this page: Radicalface.Com which I would recommend everyone to check out regularly. There is lots of information regarding both his past, present and future projects. This doesn't only involve music, but also photography and his obsession with Team Fortress 2.

List of his musical connections:
  • Electric President - Probably what he is most known from. This is a group he is in with Alex Kane, they released their first album Electric President in 2006, and the second album is named Sleep Well the release date is set to June 6th for Europe and June 25th for the US. (the album leaked onto the internet on the 18th of April)
  • Radical Face - His solo project. (Though he did get some help on some of the tracks). The album Ghost was released in 2007. In 2003 he made and album called "Junkyard Chandelier" but this was never released.
  • Unkle Stiltskin - This project was formed in 2002 by Corey Loop and Ben Cooper. Some tracks can be found on Ben Coopers home page Downloads
  • Mother's Basement - This is a project started by Jeremiah Johnson, Richard Colado and Ben Cooper. It is a very experimental project, and you would learn a lot more by looking at their home page. Mothersbasement.net
  • Iron Orchestra - This is a project between Ben and his brother Emeral Cooper. You'll be best off checking the few songs on here Iron Orchestra
  • Radical Face vs. Phalex Sledgehammer - Radical Face was Ben's solo project, and Phalex Sledgehammer was Alex's solo project, and when they collaborated, the name came about. There are two albums "Crooked Teeth" and "Typecast" that are known, but they were never released. Though some songs were posted on the download part of his homepage.Downloads
  • Headache and Pearl Harbor - A project with Rickolus, this was made when he was 16. For the full story and some songs, again go to the download page. Downloads
  • The Helicopter Project - I have no words. The song "Shut up" should explain it all. Downloads

Tbh I don't think that would work. I know a couple of people who work the same way as he does and if they keep sticking with the same thing for too long they get sick and tired of it and it turns out really bad instead. Ofc I don't know the guy so can't really comment :P But I can imagine he feels good doing a lot of different stuff at the same time (since that's what he's doing) and have a feeling that's why it turns out so great :)

    @Agaetis-Byrjun: I don't think Ben is very aware of this group existing. At least I've never seen anything that would indicate it. Though send him an email, I know he reads everything and will respond eventually.

    The group is currently without a leader, and it seems that you can't change the leader of a group anymore as last.fm staff have to do this manually and the don't have the capacity to do it anymore. Hopefully this will be possible again in not too long. Now that we finally have some activity from Ben's projects next year I want to keep this group alive.

    This group now has more than 100 members, and it is steadily growing. Welcome all new people. We are entering a very interesting Ben Cooper period this winter I think.

    Hey! I just made my account on here and this is probably like the only group i'll ever subscribe to :P Do any of you guys know if there's a way to get that CD, or at least the tracks off of it, that Ben only made 100 copies of? He's my favorite artist of all time, has been for over a year, and I would kill to be able to atleast get the tracks.
