    Jonathan Rhys Meyers

    Ok , I want to know your opinion about him (not the looks , the acting).
    I, personally, think is a great actor , just watch his performance in The emperor's wife, he is breathtaking.

    I don't see any other actor who could play the role of Brian Slade, he was born for that.But hey if you think otherwise what actor could've played Brian.

    Jonathan is very talented, he was great as Brian! But in my opinion Ewan was better, I mean they both were fantasic but Ewan's play was breathtaking.

    Jonathan was great in Allen's "Match point", by the way. A huge character change. ;)

  • I can´t think of anyone else who would fit better for Brian. Just! Look! At! Him! Unbelievable :))
    And I also like his voice and all the accent changing he does:D
    OMG, the way I see it, he´s one of the sexiest men!

  • I think Joe is a superb actor, he finely played the role of Brian Slade...there is "something in the way he moves", I cannot explain...love him !

    I have read the Velvet Goldmine screenplay.. it is really nice little book..:) And someone here has mentioned that JRM did some demos when they needed to find out his voice ability as a singer or whatever. Anyway, he sung few songs of Velvet Underground. And is said it was great! I´d love to hear it!

    It's weird seeing Mr Slade in 16th Century style, he's one talented actor :)

    Do you not get it where you come from? Not sure if its broadcast outside of the UK. But i'm pretty sure they're release a series DVD, they usually do for shows on the BBC. Its on tonight and i have a feeling Catherine of Aragon is goin'down. :P

    Yes, he is doing a good job on The Tudors, but the series as a whole are not that great, me and my friend joke about it and call it a "telenovela" that's the south american word for soap opera i think.

    What do you think about August Rush?
    I, personally, don't like it.It's too whiny and predictable.Pluses: Robin Willliams, the music and, of course, JRM(he didn't impress me with his acting on this one but like someone here said "there something in the way he moves" :)

    I saw him in a movie "Loss of Sexual Innocence" he played a 16 year old boy that started to "experiment" with sex XD very strange movie...not bad...and of course his role in VG ...beautifull realy...i think he palys a real "homo" you wanna get with XP the way he acts is just hipnotizeing
