Okay. Confession time.

  • Okay. Confession time.

    I LOVE NICKELBACK.

No, I jest. But I used to. .___. I actually own two of their singles; they're presents, only I asked for them, so I can't exactly throw them out. At the moment they're sitting untouched in a box with my Black Eyed Peas and Jessica Simpson CDs. I swear, I hate them now.

Has everyone hated Nickelback all their... er... 'music'al career here? Am I now an outcast for thinking they were talented? [Note: I NEVER liked Photograph.]

  • I tolerated "Leader of Men" when it first came out. It wasn't necessarily good, but I didn't have the sudden urge to vomit like I do with every other Nickelback song. Plus, I figured that they weren't going anywhere, so whatever.

As soon as "How You Remind Me" hit the radio, I made up my mind: these guys just plain blow. That was even before all of the contoversy about every song sounding the same arose (which is true, of course). They were horrible enough as it was with one song!

  • I used to listen to them like 4 years ago when I didn't know what real music was and looking back on it I can't believe I actually listened to the crap they call music.

    End Confession.

    ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
  • Yay, I'm not a horrible person! : O

  • I have never, ever liked Nickleback. My Nickelback hatred has grown for quite some time now.

  • I have a confession to make. Chad Kroeger and I share the same last name. Somehow I feel partially responsible for his nonsense.

You're invited to a party but you're not invited.
  • Well hey, next big-ass family reunion you have, do the God of Rock 'n' Roll a favor and plan a really amazing assassination.

I honestly don't think I'd have such a big beef with Nickelback if they only charged you for the first CD you buy. After that, they should all be free. Sure, the first one you buy would suck anyway, but at least you wouldn't have to keep paying for the same album every time they put out a "new" CD.

    XD

There's a LOT of bands you could say that about..

But very few are as bad as Nickleback. Seriously, just listen to this. The only other band that I can think of that recycles songs as much as Nickelback does is Linkin Park

Judging by the fact you have Blink 182, The Used and Boys Like Girls in your top artists, I'd say you still don't know what music is

I listened to shit in high school. At that time I really liked "Leader of Men." I was young and stupid. Korn was my favorite band back then. The atrocities don't end there. I also really enjoyed Staind, Godsmack, and Limp Bizkit. I never got my Bachelor's degree, but my years in college really opened me up to music. I rarely revisit the crap I listened to as a teen, though there are some holdovers like Deftones, Mindless Self Indulgence, and Alice in Chains that I still enjoy, occasionally some first-wave post-grunge like Collective Soul or Live.

i used to really like this is how you remind me. it's still not a bad tune, but man. i can't stand anything else i've ever heard by them. plus, they keep disgracing metallica songs live. plus, chad's face.

  • Well the song Rockstar got stuck in my head when my brother started listening to it. I threatened i would kill him if he bought a Nickelback album. The worst part is that it is still in my head

  • i had a couple of songs by them on a cd that my uncle gave me, never rly liked the songs anyway
