By joining this group you are agreeing with the opinion of many, that metallica suck ass.

The real story:
Metallica USED to be a kick ass thrash metal band back in the day of awesome thrash metal..then in the 90s the real metallica were abducted by aliens and the aliens sole purpose was to destroy the core fanbase of Metallica as they believed Metallica's original sound to be a threat to one of their planets or something.
Anyway, the 90s came around and they started putting out albums that sounded like blues-grunge hybrids and instead of singing like any normal person, Hetfield decided it would be awesome to yodel and add "EE-AHHH" at the end of every sentence..oh and he contsantly said baby live too which isn't that good amirite?

Of course I am..anyway the real Metallica came back from anus probing and other violations of their personal space and thought "WTF MAN" and well, they decided they would try to go back to their old sound but the ALIENS stole their AWESOME and the end result was St Anger.

While metal may still be in the name of this band it's pretty obvious the evil aliens stole all their metal and harvested to better bands like Megadeth and the almighty SLAYUUUUUUURRRRRRR..along with Trivium...so should Metallica be called Metallica anymore? Or should they just rename themselves mediocallica or some shit..I don't know.

Anyway, it's obvious young bands can emulate the metallica sound better than Metallica can do themselves..for example Trivium, I'm not a fan but Matt Heafy can yodel better than hetfield..oh and he plays a Dimebag guitar..how awesome is that shit!?

Alot of you will be quick enough to come on my page and trash talk my music taste because it's not as METUL as yours or because Metallica are number 11 on my top artists...well I still listen to the pre-alien era..any problems with that? then just go back to your mothers basement and get back to trash talking people on Halo 3 or something, seeing how you don't have anything better to do in life.

As alot of you are aware, Metallica are recording a new album..but since the AWESOME got taken out by the aliens and well, they have a monkey playing bass(not that he's a bad bass player) for them now..I highly doubt it'll be good..but who cares..fuck Metallica

IMO, they only did one mediocre album ( Ride The Lightning, which I don't even listen to any more ) , everything else is utter dog shit ...
