This is the official group of the new Female Fronted Progressive Metal band Alerion, from The Netherlands.

Alerion is a new Female Fronted Progressive Metal band from The Netherlands. They combine Female Fronted (or Gothic) vocals, with a guitar-oriented, heavy and melodic sound, including influences from Progressive Metal. Because of this unusual combination of vocals and music, Alerion's music is slightly different from that of most bands out there, and might just be a bit refreshing. Contrary to what you might expect, Alerion does not play Gothic Metal.

You can listen to the new promo Turn of Fate (2009) in full on Last.fm, or download it. The old demo Fledgling (2007) is still available online as well.
