idrovetoday It seriously takes so much talent to create this kind of music. I am a huge metal fan, but it's literally stupid for people to create an anti-hip hop group without even knowing/having heard the real music and most importantly understanding what's behind it. Big L, Mobb Deep, and Big Pun, Wu Tang. Not that fake shit on the radio. Real artists who represent where they come from.

Arkannen This whole hip-hop hating trend is really tiring. I chat with people all over the net that say things like "I listen to everything except hip-hop, that's shit", and such. Why the hell would hip-hop be the only genre you consider awful? Makes no sense. Like many other genres, there are enough diamonds in hip-hop music that it could be listened to for a few lives.

Thank you for adding me to this group. Every now and then I face the persecution of being a hip hop fan. A lot of people have claimed that I was listening to music that glorified drugs, worshiped violence, demonized women, and praised the "gangsta / swag" life. It bothers me, because true hip hop is not like that at all. Finally, I feel blessed that I'm in a last.fm group that shares my feelings because not all hip hop is what people see on BET, MTV, and what people hear on the radio. peace and love - GTA
