Meh ? As far as i can remember it was on my seventh birthday(the greatest present u ever got :P) So in the taperecorder i found a orange tape, that i've never seen before.So i decided to listem it.And than i heard "Powerslave".I was amazed by the speed and by the sound of that kind a music.There was a period you know, where i was listening to heavy metal and that kinda stuff.But know as you can see extreme music is my whole focking life !

I started with Manowar's "hail to england" tape) My freind gave me that tape and i just liked it... cause it was an it is \m/\m/\m/
And first death metal i've heard was Kataklysm - temple of knowledge.

Well, Azazel, no.I had periods as i kid, when i was listening to queen,maiden and random hard & heavy stuff.But i listen seriously listen metal since 2005.

Started with Metallica's ...And Justice For All album.I remember I listened it so much that finally cd got out of order.And first death metal song i've heard was Cannibal Corpse - Deceny Defied.At the first times, i thought that this was a ear rape, but then i like it.

I've been listening to metal about 8-9 years, started with Lep Zeppelin and The Runaways. But I like death metal , grind and generally the more extreme metal. I also listen to other kinds of music like rock, glam, thrash, heavy... And started with my father and brother... They always listen to Slayer, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Death, Camel... =)

Usual story...

Got into Queen because of an old CD my father had... and then followed the usual story, becoming fan of Metallica after hearing Nothing Else Matters on the radio oO much Power Metal in the beginning, mostly Rhapsody, Helloween and Blind Guardian, then the turn towards Melodic Death with In Flames and Dark Tranquillity -- and through Metallicas Justice-Album I suddenly was into Thrash, joined a Thrash Metal band, and we covered Death's Crystal Mountain. The only Death Metal I had listened to until then has been Bloodbath. So these 2 bands, Death and Bloodbath really got me into DM

Hmm when I was 15 me and my brother went on vacation with a "christian" youthgroup, went to Italy. It has been a island where you could hardly do anything and the last boat went 18 o'clock to the mainland (or back whatever) so most of the time we were listening to music, and as I've been in the same room with members of a metalband we usually listened to metal, that was kind of a starting ignition, and since then I've really gotten into metal.
