Can anybody from Last.fm staff explain to me in understandable terms:
- what's the point of using your site to promote my own music if I can't embed it anywhere on the Internet?
- how this feature could be removed without any kind of poll among users?

2-3 years ago I liked last.fm very much (I was subscriber then) but since the site redesign and feature changes I'm seriously considering switching to another solution.

Last looked at this thread in October last year, when it looked like a matter of time before it was reintroduced...

Now got some new material soon to be released, so I thought I'd check out the latest and it's been scrapped!

Luckily, I've already joined Reverbnation, where they have all sorts of embeddable widgets, so last.fm has just missed out an an opportunity... I guess it's their loss, not mine.
