Windows Live Messenger now playing problem

When you start a station with no content, the Messenger status updates anyway, and looks something like this: " -". This remains there forever (until you restart Messenger or Last.fm)

I would much rather see them fix this bug (by not setting now playing status until after they're sure that a stream is available)
