    So I do have the newest update version for a while now for Windows Media Player.
    Before this update of last.fm the scrobbling worked ALWAYS

    Now the radio always shows THIS:

    "Couldnt start playback: Error
    RtApiDs: Unable to start buffer (Primärer Soundtreiber): DirectSound unkown
    error."


    Its really frustratiing..
    The scrobbling from my played songs (Windows plugin) is totally working.

    But when I start the last fm scrobbler and want to listen to my radio it shows the error.

    Only when I scrobble 1 or 2 songs first, I can listen to the radio stations without getting the Error message.


    Of course I wish I would not have installed the last.fm updated version now...
    please help

    go to your client options and change the sound card which is used by last.fm and see if it works...

    aka, change it from "Primärer Soundtreiber" to whatever your soundcard is actually called :D
