    Scrobbling iTunes Shared Playlists

    Hi guys!

I recently installed the iTunes software on my computer and because I'm on a uni network, I get to see the playlists of other people who've publicly shared their playlists. Sometimes I'll go on them and listen to music that I don't have.

Does anyone know if it's possible to scrobble the tracks I've listened to on the shared playlists? I'm using the Last.fm for Windows audioscrobbler.

Audioscrobbler will recognise that they are playing, but refuses to scrobble them because they aren't in the directories I've selected (of course, because they're stored remotely on the network).

Is there any way I can make Audioscrobbler scrobble every track I listen to, regardless of what folder they're in? (or is there some "folder" where the shared playlists are stored which I can select?)

    Thanks.

  • I have the same problem

Is there a solution to this? I have the same problem too, and will appreciate any help.

I have tried unchecking the selected folder on my Last.fm preference in hope that when no folder is selected, the default would be to scrobble everything. But that doesn't seem to work.

    Thanks.
