The automatic updater doesn't work

Tool - Last.fm Scrobbler for Mac OS X
Version - 1.5.1.30182
System - MacBook Mac OS X 10.5.4

If I check for updates it notices the new version, downloads it and when I click finish it should automatically shutdown last.fm install the new version then relaunch. What actually happens is that it shuts down restarts then tries to download the same update again. I had to download the new version separately and install it.
