everything is right, but there's no scrobble

I've actually changed my password, and put it right in the software and in the web site, but when the client is not uploading my scrobble.
I've done everything that is writen in the "problems scrobbling" forum, and yet it's not uploading
I'm pretty sure that everything is okay, but the scrobble is not uploading, what can be happenning?

    (sorry by pour english)

  • I have exactly the same problem

Tracks are turning up on my Last FM player, it says "Scrobbling On", when I added a new album to my library it was recognised on my homepage and yet nothing on my account page has registered since yesterday afternoon. I have logged out and back in again and have also quit Last FM and started again, I have used this method several times in the past and it has worked, but nothing is helping.

    Please advise.

I've done this and the problem continues
I don't know what to do anymore.

  • I've got this problem too.

I can "love" tracks but it refuses to scrobble anything, but I didn't really search on the forum for the answer so if it's in the forum excuse me for that.

dude, I hope I can solve this problem soon.

  • Same

I am having the same problem. Been pissin me off! I wonder if it's a bug in the Last.fm software...

Scrobbling on, name and password correct, Plug-in ID's the songs and whatnot but nothing updates on my user page or listened to tracks/artists. Every time I restart the software, "Recently Listened" goes back to where it "froze" at.

I've tried re-installing too... no luck.

  • i'm having the same problem. it started today after i downloaded the newest version of itunes; i don't know if that's just a coincidence or what. i haven't tried reinstalling yet; i'd rather not if i can avoid it.

  • Same thing here

It started just about 15 minutes ago, when I heard two songs and whondered why they were shown as "scrobbled" in the Last.fm program, but not on my page. Still, they ARE shown as being played currently by me, just not added when they are over. Strange :-/ Since I didn't do anything between the title that was scrobbled last and the first one that wasn't, I can't say what's wrong. Think it's gotta be something with the server? It displays "CRITICAL" for submissions...

  • "Listening Now" is scrobbling, but tracks don't "stick" in Recently Listened

The first five or 6 songs I played today worked fine and showed up in my recently listened list. But now a cut will play and show up as "Listening Now", but then disappears from the Recently played list when a new cut is playing. The last cut to show up in Recently Listened is from two hours - so it's skipped about 30 cuts. Hopefully it's just a short term bug - otherwise it sort of defeats the purpose of last.fm.

Submission just seems to be disturbed atm, hope it's gonna be fixed soon.

Does anyone know, how I can see if my played tracks are "stored"/"cached" now (like in offline mode) and will be uploaded later, or will they just be skipped and not be shown on last.fm?

nothing is working here... tracks havent been scrobbling for the past 2 hours, worked until about 10am. I use MediaMonkey with the Winamp plugin, which always worked swimingly-until now. Ended up installing the client software and that hasnt done anything. Status page has "CRITICAL" for submissions...

    Got the same problem too..

  • I figured the "CRITICAL" for submissions would have something to do with it.

  • This has been happening to me since two days ago, and everything was ok. Passwords, scrobbling shown in the client, artist playing, etc.

I even used an network sniffer! (wireshark) and watch indeed my client informing last.fm of the scrobbling (http/xml based).

After going through ALL settings on my account (site), I wrote a new password (but shorter than the one before) and scrobbling came back... =P

    Very confusing...

    well, I changed my password, closed the web, and the program, restarted it, and changed the password in the program, now it's working perfectly;
hope this can solve your problems too guys!
