2 Computers But Can Only Scrobble From 1 WMP Help

Sorry it this sounds a bit complicated. I lost the most recent Last FM on my computer at work and am unable to re-install because my work's systems block the install.

I've managed to install an older version of the scrobbler within WMP10 and the tracks are cache'ing. I used to be able to email the cache'd file home and then get it onto the website from my home computer.

Could someone tell me a) does this still work and b) what folder should it be placed in again please? Assuming this still works, will the tracks cache automatically or once I start playing the first song on the home computer?

Hope this makes sense and that someone can help me. I'd hate to lose the tracks I listen to at work as this makes up a large percentage of the music I get to listen to!

    Many thanks (in advance)

  • For outdated client we can't guarantee that they are working or will work. So you can try but honestly we don't test on them anymore so no idea.

Anyway just open the client and press "alt+shift+f" you'll see a folder called cache.
Copy and paste to the client wich can access the web.

Thanks for the reply. I've managed to email the cache file home from work, but I guess I just need to know a) what folder to paste the cache file into so that it scrobbles from the home computer before I play any new tracks from home and b) if this method still works (I am 90% sure it used to).

Hope this makes sense and someone can help. Cheers.
