I just noticed something today. Listening to one specific track I saw that it did not show up in my last.fm profile. The next track showed up again. Trying to nail the problem down I looked at the TAG data and saw that the artist name had brackets in it .. [dunkelbunt]. I removed the brackets and it showed up, added them again, no error during submission but it did not appear in the list. I tried this with two different clients, so it does not seem to be a local problem.
Can someone confirm this?

I think this is related to a different problem altogether a lot of people seem to be having right now. I had the same issue and changing my last.fm password (as mentioned in a few forum posts) seems to have fixed the problem for me.
