External speakers connected, last.fm client using internal? nothing else is

I just downloaded the last.fm client and it is only playing through my internal speakers, but everyting else is running through my externals. I have never seen anything like this before and can't restart at the moment, but barring that does anyone have any suggestions?

That phrase is a trademark and is not to be used outside the permission of Ricky Bobby Inc.
