  • Help menu contains 'kr4sh pls, kthxbai' option

I've just downloaded the Feisty .deb Linux client and found in the Help menu a 'kr4sh pls, kthxbai' option. It does what the name suggests and locks out (crashes) the client.

Is this some kind of developer joke that leaked through into the official version?

Help -> About reports this is version 1.3.2.4.

    Any help please?

I had just downloaded the same thing on linux, and i had that in help. I clicked it and it crashed. This is the stupidest menu item ever. And for some reason, now the client wont start back up after terminating it >_<

update: I had to uninstall, restart comp, and then install again for the client to even show up again

My client would not start up again after clicking the item. I found you had to kill the lastfm process before it would restart. I'm not sure the re-installation and restarting is necessary. Just so you know for next time.

  • Well, at least it's functional ;). Now why do people have the tendency though to click the "don't press me" buttons :P.

Rather than a joke it might also just have been to test something or so but I'm pretty sure that it's not a feature to stay :P.

  • Any more info. on this?
