sorry if my issue is a duplicate. I really tried to find similar threads here and with google. I'm having this hiccups in almost every song, up to three times. It's like the music is off, for about 50 - 100ms. Sometimes it's fine for about 3 songs.
I have this since I moved from WXP to W7 x64 and it's only with the last.fm client. Everything else, like winamp, vlc player, television, games and even virtual worlds are just fine. Streaming is no issue at all.
It's a very fresh Windows 7 (Home Premium, x64) installation, already purified from all that Microsoft crap, never running above 1% CPU usage even with last.fm on.
I already tried a TCP optimizer, reinstalling last.fm and custom buffer size. Speedtest.net / pingtest.net looks fine and my router doesn't report any issues, like FEC and CRC error counts, w/e this means.
My hardware: Intel Core i7 2600K @ 3.40GHz 16,0 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24) Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro
Please don't just tell me to reinstall my soundcard. All drivers are up to date and installing Creative drivers is a pain in the ass. Also, everything else works just fine.
Here's a snippet from my last.fm log including a song having this hiccup:
