No good quicksearch feature?

I have to say I like foobar but a media player is just impossible for me to use without a good search feature. With Winamp you have the QuickSearch plug in where you can just tap F3 or any other designated key and it'll appear on top, and once you select a song it'll dissapear - easy. The foobar one annoys me, though. It's not global; when you press the button, the window will appear behind any non minimized applications you have, and when you have selected a song, the box sticks around.

Is there any way to get foobars search like amps? Honestly if it can't do that then I really have to say amp is better.
