BBC Panorama confronts an internet troll

Panorama's Declan Lawn reports on the dangers of cyberbullying and meets pop singer Cher Lloyd, who has experienced racist attacks and physical threats on social networking sites.

He also tracks and confronts a man known to troll the internet and post offensive comments on tribute pages on social networking sites.

that's not trolling though...that's abuse and harassment.

that said, why care what anyone else says? especially if you're some fake, trotted out pop starlet whose time will be over in five mins.

I agree, there's a not so subtle line between rick rolling someone & finding a grieving family's tribute page to post racial slurs on it.

I caught the last few minutes of it, and saw one of the messages posted, it was quite vile, I wonder why people would disrespect the dead? Especially when quite often, the people are complete strangers to them?
