Price hike...

  • Price hike...

I have been a lastfmuser for two years now and the price of £18 per year was adequate I feel and I have told many many friends about your service and said how it's worth the money, I have just run out of subscription and automatically went to re-subscribe no problem I thought, and to my horror your prices have gone up double!!

I am sadly not going to subscribe again.

In these times when money is tight you should not be putting up your prices double, or at least offer some sort of repeat discount, or a discount for yearly subscriptions over monthly or payg.

    With Regret,
    Pixie

three pounds a month is really not that much.

£3 isn't much but it should have been announced properly, everyone agrees.

Pixiefairylady - sorry for the shock. Money is tight, yes, and for the site as well. They lost ad revenue because advertisers were holding on to their money too. Also, it was £1.50 a month for years and years.

Anyway, I expect you've made your decision, I just wanted to throw this in. Many of us have asked for some sort of discount for annual / regular payments, it's a good idea.

If your bank doesn't charge you for conversions, pay in $, it's a little bit cheaper

  • Thanks,

£3 a month to me is alot - £1.50 is, Ive just had a child and receiving very little support. I understand the reasons why prices are put up but 50% is a lot in one year, without any other options on current members discounts etc.

    thanks anyway :)

Before you make your final decision, have a look at what vassyz said...

  • No idea why, but I'm still paying £1.50 a month..
