Sign me up for Beta testing!

  • Would be happy if I could beta test, too.

  • Ditto!

  • It's really sad that this feature is still missing after all this time

    Sad

    Why this 2 years waiting?

  • Sweet, after long last.

  • If you're still looking, I'd be glad to test and give feedback as well.

i'd like to beta test :D thanks

  • I'd love to beta test too. :)

BTW, I think YouTube was pretty much the best introduction of a friend finder that I've ever seen. Opt-out, but as soon as the change was made, it was made really clear in a box on your logged-in homepage that you could find x, y and z friend and that other people could find you too - click here to disable discovery by email.

Only downside being that your identity was "exposed" by default until you logged in and changed the setting. Quite a few people have very distinct, er, personalities on YouTube (comment search is still not popular with the community). Still, I think it was a success.

Opt-in for new users only?, as per Twitter.

That means the default would be you're up for being found. I'd prefer it if it were the other way round - default is total privacy and you opt-in to Friend Finder, with options of where. So maybe a short list of various other sites, Twitter, Facebook, Linked In, etc, that you can select.
I agree with Babs. Look Last.fm you promise security of information, and then you pull bullshit like this?

Maybe TechCrunch was right. You are selling us out, it's just not to the RIAA, it's to Facebook.

    Make it opt-in.

Did I hear that right? Mondegreens - for the misheard word.

Nope, still in progress, sorry to disappoint.

I'm actually on holiday at the moment (i'm not in the office, or even the UK) but I believe this is being worked on at the moment.

I'm not sure where you got that impression, but no information is being given to Facebook.

  • Me would like to beta-test as well.
