Most buy album links are in $$$$$$$$

As my location is UK, why do most albums have a buy me link in $$$$? I'm not talking about CD's you can only buy on import, I'm talking about almost everything. I have only ever seen one CD in £.

In the new year I plan to buy some CD's. Can I assume lastfm get a kickback from anything I buy from one of your links? If yes, I would prefer to buy through your link and support the site. Any idea when the links will be fixed?

We were actually looking at this today, but it might be mid-January before it's completely fixed.
